where can i get training for accounting job?

Latest question regarding where can i get training for accounting job? from Yahoo: i am a recent college graduate in accounting. i would like to get some training in accounting software like peach tree, quickbooks, quicken to enhance my skill. i am also trying to get training for bookkeeping and accouts payable/receivable job. what would be the ways to get those training?your answers will be really appreciated. thank you.

Answer: if you have a degree in accounting, you shouldn’t need any further training in AP or AR beyond the first couple of days on the job

and if you have a 4 yr degree in Accounting, you are overqualified to be a “Bookkeeper” – you should be looking for Staff Accountant positions

look for local schools, colleges, computer training centers that offer classes on specific software programs
