  I run a small construction company and have never employed an accountant. For the last few years I’ve used a google spreadsheet solution for my accounts, and with a low number of transactions that has worked fine. The problem is double entry errors and this has all simply reminded me that I am not a book-keeper and the effort to get the accounts right was becoming a stress. So I took the plunge with this dedicated Accontz solution – cheaper than an accountant, cheaper than Sage and ideal it seems to use with a bookkeeper in support. The user interface wouldn’t win prizes for being intuitive but it took less than half an hour for me to get going with the Accountz basic functions. The real benefits started to show within a few weeks when it was time to do the VAT return – this usually takes me a couple of hours, but this time it only took a mouse click! A good package, and it will hold me off from having to finally admit defeat and get a proper accountant. Accounts gets my greatful thumbs up.

  Having tried and tested several accounting software products, I went to an Business Accountz almost two years ago and never looked back. I’m not an accountant and have little patience with the accounts and bookkeeping, so easy to use, intuitive software that does the job for me is very important. Accountz use is as clear as the creation of a list of suppliers and expenses, and then make a separate list of sources of income so that transactions are made, and they entered or income or expenditure. Tansactions were entered one by one in any order, the money goes to credit, bank account, PayPal account then continues to check box, you can click when the invoice is paid (or blank if not paid). When it is time to reconcile bank accounts, click the box beside each record bank transactions can be marked to show that he was against the sum of bank statements for the quick and easy comparison. As each item is registered, or near, or adjustments to bank account, payments received etc account, then “profit” character and the cash balance account balance / adjusted to reflect this. It is logical, common sense and easily understood by a beginner like me. At the end of the year, when it is time for the preparation of annual balance sheet and profit and loss trading, and automatically generated in the chart of accounts by simply clicking on the “Balance” tab “Balance” or ” P & L account ‘. I have three small businesses, and use this software for all three, while keeping each set separate accounts inual -. an important feature of the Professional Edition as my three firms are the VAT, I could not test this scenario in the “real world”, but I have no reason to doubt that the function will not be as effective as all other aspects of the group that also includes bills and print design, provide quotes and estimates and users to manage. It is also mention the great customer support available Accountz.com, a British company based in Cambridge. There I contacted them twice and each time he responded by e-mail within hours to provide knowledge and support and advice details, and they took care to ensure that all questions have been answered to my satisfaction. I 100% recommend Accountz – great accounting software in all respects.

  Accountz was recommended as a simple accounting package for someone with little experience in accounting. I’ve been using this software to run my business now accounts for 12 months. Despite my lack of knowledge of accounting I was able to maintain a complete set of accounts and found everything quick and easy – my accountant will be so very impressed! I think Accountz best for me though is its exceptional customer service – that he got his package and when ever I called with a query that was incredibly friendly and patient – explain my mistakes and teach me how to make things better in future. This alone must have saved me several days throughout the year – so my choice to buy Accountz was a great investment.
